CMS golf teams remains undefeated, improve to 4-0

In golf action Monday, the Lady Jacket linksters remained undefeated and pushed their record to 4-0 by winning a match at the Calhoun Elks Club against Cartersville. Sixth grader Kate Mashburn had the team low score and was low medalist for the match with a personal best score of 49. Katie Rose Rawls had the other counting score with a fine round of 54. The CMS girls team score of 103 beat Cartersville’s score of 143.

The Jacket men also remained undefeated and pushed their record to 4-0 by beating the Purple Hurricanes by twelve strokes with a score of 193 to Cartersville’s 205. Austin Cherry and Caleb Hayes led the Jackets with scores of 44, followed by KJ Sturkey’s round of 49 and Hunter Norman’s 56.



The next golf match is scheduled for next Monday, September 27th against Cartersville @ Cartersville Country Club.
