Top: Calhoun artist Rebecca Frazee displayed her paintings at the Pine Log Arts and Crafts Fair Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 11-12, in Rydal. The fair drew vendors from as far away as Ashville, N.C. and took place on the grounds of the historic Pine Log United Methodist Church Campground.

Bottom: Karen and Reed Floyd of Fairmount set up a booth to sell their handmade red cedar bird houses at the Pine Log Arts and Crafts fair this past weekend. Floyd said it takes about an hour to put each house together, but that “it takes a long time to get to this point.” He harvests the wood for each house himself.
