Kris Durham (UGA) – Durham had a team high 76 yards off of three receptions in Georgia’s 17-6 loss at South Carolina on Saturday.

Ty Frix (UGA) – Ty Frix participated in UGA’s loss to South Carolina. Frix, a long snapper, set up kicker Blair Walsh, who converted two field goals in the game, UGA’s lone scores.

Tre Lamb (Tenn. Tech) – As predicted, TCU was much more than Tennessee Tech could handle, rolling to a 62-7 victory. On a bright note, Lamb was able to hook up with Tremain Hudson on an 11-yard TD pass against a defense ranked near the top. Lamb completed 7-of-12 passes for a total of 50 yards through the air. He was intercepted once.

Scott Blair (GT) – Blair hit one field goal, a 28-yard shot in the second quarter, but Georgia Tech fell to Kansas Saturday 28-25. Blair also had two kickoffs, averaging 63.5 yards. Blair also connected on two PAT’s.

Da’Rick Rogers (Tenn.) – Rogers did participate in Tennessee’s 48-13 loss to Oregon Saturday but did not record a catch.

Nick Davison (Tenn.-Chattanooga) – Davison had four solo tackles and two assists as the starting nose guard in Tennessee-Chattanooga’s 21-17 loss to Jacksonville State on Saturday. Two of the tackles were for a loss. For his play, Davison was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Week.

Eric McDaniel (Purdue) – McDaniel participated in Purdue’s 31-21 victory over Western Illinois on Saturday.

Carmeron Budzuis (Birmingham Southern) – Budzuis recoded one tackle in BSU’s 52-16 win over Faulkner University on Saturday.

Jason Muehling had a big day also. Jason of Tusculum college contributed a defensive touchdown to the Pioneers win over Western Carolina. In addition to seven tackles, Jason sacked the quarterback recovering the resulting fumble and ran 60 yards for a touchdown. Jason was named the South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the week for his efforts.

Former Calhoun QB Cody Worley of Furman University had probably the best day of any of the Calhoun alumni playing. He threw 3 TD's on 9/15 passing in a 45-15 win over Colgate. He also carried the ball 5 times for 32 yards. Cody has waited patiently for his turn to lead this team and hopefully he will get his rewards this year.
