Ashworth golf teams kick off season with second place finishes

The Ashworth boys and girls golf teams both placed second in the opening meet of the 2010 season on Aug. 30 at Barnsley Gardens.

The boys finished two strokes behind Calhoun. For the boys, Branton Bailey was the low medalist with a nine hole score of 41.

Tori Hopper and Becky Worsham led the Lady Warriors, tying for third place in individual competition with a 58 over nine holes.
