According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston:
At approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday evening, The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit detectives and sheriff’s deputies from the Community Crime Prevention Unit stopped two vehicles on Kelly Court in Calhoun. The stop was made after an undercover agent was delivered a pound of methamphetamine in a restaurant parking lot on Highway 53.
Detectives had also made several undercover purchases of methamphetamine during the course of the investigation.
Juan Carlos Jacobo, 30, of 957 Newtown Rd and Martin Bentancourt Urtiz, 17, of 253 Landon Court were arrested and are being held in the Gordon County Jail pending bond proceedings.
According to the report, Jacobo will be charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine and possession/distribution of methamphetamine.
Urtiz will be charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
“Two juveniles were arrested and later released to their parents,” said Ralston. “They may face charges at a later time.”
Along with the methamphetamine and cash, deputies and detectives seized a late model Chevrolet pickup truck and a Lincoln Navigator.
Operation Blue Magic was an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking and conspiracy in the Newtown area in Calhoun.
According to the report, the name “Blue Magic” was derived from the distinctive color of the high-potency methamphetamine involved in the case, which intelligence sources believe to have originated in Mexico.

"15,000 million illegals in the country, you're forgetting the ones in the city"
1. that's more than the world population.
2. country is exactly that, the United States, which last I checked, included all counties, cites and territories. "country" does not mean areas outside "city" limits.
Come on now!! You seem to be resonable, don't tarnish that with posts like you just made.
