Melissa E. Clayton, of Calhoun, and Stephen W. Worley, of Calhoun, were married on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., at the home of Nathan and Beth Bennett, special friends of the couple.
The bride is the daughter of Danny and Marilyn Clayton of Calhoun. The groom is the son of Fred and Delores Worley of Calhoun and the late Brenda Worley.
The Rev. Calvin Anderson performed the outdoor ceremony. The couple was surrounded by their daughters, family and close friends.
The bride’s attendants were her daughters, Kayla Anne and Lacey Allison Bell and Adrienne Renee Worley, daughter of the groom. They wore matching dresses in white with blue and lime green flowers. They carried single white roses tied with blue ribbon. Madelyn Gallman, niece of the
bride, was the flower girl. She wore a white dress with a high waist that was adorned with lime green flowers.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a contemporary ensemble. The strapless tea-length dress featured a coordinating cap-sleeve shrug, both designed in gorgeous ivory lace. A satin ribbon around the waist flowed into an A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas.
Jayce Gallman, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
