Century Bank to host blood drive July 15

Century Bank in Calhoun will host a Blood Assurance blood drive Thursday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. T-shirts, drinks and snacks will be available for all donors. Register to win a Nintendo Wii game system. Donors are advised to eat a good meal, drink water and bring an i.d. Pictured: Angela Hammond of Century Bank, Sandra Kerr of Blood Assurance and Tracy Bennett of Century Bank with the T-shirt donors will receive. Kerr said all donated blood stays local; blood donations, she said, usually slow down during the summer, so donors are encouraged to come out and give blood.
