The Bulldogs hold a perfect 4-0 record against the Crush, but despite the record, the game between the two teams usually comes down to a close and exciting ending.
The game will feature a defensive battle with both teams boasting the best. So far this season the Crush has not been scored on in any game while the Bulldogs have allowed their opponents to only 10.6 points per game but they are also scoring an average of 39.6 ppg.
The Crush has an impressive roster with over 15 Division-I college football players.
Tennessee will be a force to reckon with but the Bulldogs are not coming in lacking confidence.
The Bulldogs have six former University of Tennessee-Chattanooga players on the defense. Their roster is also represented by players from Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, UTC, Shorter, Georgia Military and more.
“There will be a lot of talent at Phil Reeve Stadium Saturday night and one you dont want to miss out on,” said team owner and founder Kacee Smith. “Not only do the Bulldogs plan to be the first team to score on the Crush, but also plan to hand them their first defeat.”
"This is definitely a professional level game for a fraction of the cost,” Smith added. “We plan to battle it out Saturday and give Calhoun a great show. This game will be full of pad popping hits and big time plays."
The game will start at 7 p.m. and gates will open at 6 p.m. Admission for adults and kids 11-and-older is $7. Kids between the ages of 5-10 cost $3 and kids under five years old get in free.

We, ‘unwashed' peasants, perfectly understand your slur.
Water down some more tests, sleep with some more students; your pension is in doubt.
Way to loud, too: 1) Last in education, 2) More felons than fellows, 3) 1 out of 10 are unemployed, 4) 13 years running, Alabama beats Georgia.
As a matter of fact I do trust the people at the central office and the board members who have answered the questions I've asked in a truthful manner.
Any company needs management, I guess that's hard for those being managed to understand, but it's true. I think the record of the schools, their accomplishments all speak for themselves. As a taxpayer, parent, and grandparent of children that have all attended or attend our local schools, I am proud of the job they do.
Old ... Indeed, the HVAC and lights are running in most education (public) buildings all night and weekends. It's one reason the central office laid off workers.
Everybody's money is nobody's money.
Central office doesn't care. Indications are lay offs are going to get worse, too.
When work bores, unhook telephone, surf Internet for latest nonsense from Oldman and lilbull (who can't find Athens on the GA map.)
1 in 10 unemployed. 25% over 45 unemployed. On my knees nightly giving thanks, I've never known their pain.
Make all the calls to the central office you want, do you really think they will tell you the real truth? The truth is that our esteemed superintendant didn't even want the turf installed and fought against it BECAUSE the Touchdown Club was having it done and she had no control over it.
My solution would be this; Let the Touchdown Club worry about the turf upkeep, they are very capable of this and since they had the original stuff put in, nake them responsible for replacing it when needed. Now as for the rental fees...Take the money you are charging the Bulldogs (or any other organization renting school facilities) and use it to pay for some of those teachers that were laid off just before school ended this year. While we are at it, lets make some salary cuts at the central office to bring those teachers back also.
Wake up oldman76....realize that you don't always get the truth when you make phone calls to check on something somebody posted here. As for the mis-information, if you talk to those that actually are doing this work, you will learn the truth!
Thanks for the support Sugar!
SV must leech off of society and isn't productive as productive people don't have time to sit around on blogs all day everyday blasting other people.
SV must sit around all day on his computer enjoying his HVAC that he begrudges everyone else having.
I will warn you though, they have HVAC's there if you go in person.
CalFan is smart to ask questions here.
All you have to do is loaf across the hall for answers.
He sure couldn't get that answer so quickly... if ever... by calling your central office..guaranteed.
Oldman, "...THAT will have to be paid for out of school funds."
"...is logical is that money generated by using PUBLIC property be but into a fund to keep the PUBLIC from paying for the replacement."
Recession. Sponsors. Couple 100 fans. Education over-budget. Too, fishy, Oldman.
The problem with this whole situation is that the rental fee (between $1200 to $1350 a game) is going straight to the central offices community education department and being put into a "Turf Renovation" account. None of the money is being used to help pay for the turf itself......OH, were you not aware that the turf hasn't even been paid for yet? Sorry to burst that bubble! The turf isn't paid for yet but they already have a "Turf Renovation" fund set up for it. Why don't you use the money the Bulldogs are having to pay for rent to help pay for this beautiful turf first THEN start a "Turf Renovation" fund? I guess that is too logical for anybody in charge at the central office to understand!
Good Luck Bulldogs, I will be there at each home game to give my $7 donation to you and watch a good game, hopefully more will come out to help you 'break even' and not be in debt to the Community Education Department!
Expecting the metal bleachers, artificial turf to catch fire?
Which public servant/s made that decision?
As long as taxpayers are not the one's choking on that great opportunity.
