The camp drew around 20 kids, despite running at the same time as the Calhoun High School basketball boys and girls camp.
“It is a real good turnout when you have multiple camps going on in the same county,” said Goss.
The camp drew many returners from previous years and focused on teaching the basic fundamentals of the game.
Helping with the camp this year were coaches Vince Steele and Joe Naymick, as well as players Sean Whorton, Sam Welty, Allen Young, Ron Thompson and Cody McCormack.
Also helping with the camp was girls coach Lee DuBose.
“Hopefully, most importantly, the kids will have fun, but also work on some skills at the same time,” said Goss.
