County Commissioners meet Tuesday night

There will be a work session of the Board of Commissioners of Gordon County at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, in the conference room of the administration building. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the agenda for the regular meeting.

The regular meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the conference room of the administration building.

On the agenda:
  • Fiscal year 2010-2011 budget adoption by resolution

  • Ordinance amendment to unified land development code

  • ordinance regulating pawn shops and pawn shop owners

  • Cooperative agreement between Georgia Forestry Commission and Gordon County Commissioners pursuant to General Assembly HB1055

  • Approval of FY 2010-2011 Road Improvement Program, and approval of Intergovernmental Agreement between the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority and Gordon County for the Energy Efficiency and Conversation Block Grant Program to construct a solar farm at the Harris Beamer Landfill.
