Plainville man arrested on trespassing, obstruction charges

A Plainville resident was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in East Rome late Sunday night.

According to Floyd County jail reports:

Michael Anthony Gilreath, 45, of Plainville, allegedly refused to leave an address on Dodd Boulevard after being asked several times to do so. When Rome police units arrived, he allegedly ran but was not able to outrun the officers, who charged Gilreath with misdemeanor criminal trespassing, public drunkenness and obstruction of officers.

Gilreath was being detained in the Floyd County Jail pending bond arrangement.
