An accident occured around 3:30 p.m. on River Street in Calhoun near the Armory Wednesday.

According to Officer David Lankford of the Calhoun Police Department, a Chevy Equinox struck a GMC Sierra truck from behind when the driver of the Equinox was distracted as she checked on her baby.

There were no injuries, Lankford said, and a tow truck was on the scene shortly after the accident to tow away the Equinox.
