Calhoun Police have arrested two juveniles and one adult in connection with several thefts and burglaries that occurred in the City of Calhoun. All three suspects have been charged with 10 counts of burglary.

According to Calhoun Police Chief Garry Moss:

On Wednesday, May 12, detectives arrested William McAbee, 20, of Calhoun, and two juveniles, whose are withheld due to their age.

The arrests came after detectives attempted to serve an arrest warrant at 118 Carters St. After entering the location detectives discovered evidence that led them to believe the subjects may be involved in several burglary through out Calhoun and Gordon County.

Detectives secured the location and obtain a search warrant for the residence. Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene and the other suspect was arrested within four hours of the search warrant being executed.

“We were able to locate numerous stolen items, linking the suspects to several burglaries and expect to make at least one more arrest in this case. These arrests should solve approximately ten burglaries that have occurred during the past several weeks,” said Lt. Tony Pyle.

McAbee remains in custody at the Gordon County Jail with further charges pending.
