Linda Young from Sonoraville High School leads the second heat of the 200-meter race at the Special Olympics. She is followed by Cody Stone (right) and Kristen Smith, both from Gordon Central.
The even was hosted by Gordon Central and included students from elementary through high school.
Volunteers from the Calhoun Police Department and the Gordon County Sheriff's Office participated in the days event assisting athletes and passing out medals.
