SMS students learn impact of technology on the environment

Sonoraville Middle School sixth grade Engineering and Technology student teams tested the effects of technology on the environment. Teams constructed a grow column and planted grass seed. Each team prepared a journal sheet to record the growth and effects of industrial pollution on the grass. While some teams applied water other teams sprayed acid rain (lemon juice and water) on the grass to observe the consequences on the environment.
