Chief Robert Paris with the Gordon County Sheriff's Office confirmed that two threats were made but no packages have been found.
Sheriff's deputies and investigators were dispatched around 12:20 p.m.
"The threats did not appear to have anything common except they were on the same day," said Bill McCown, superintendent of Gordon County schools. "We utilized the sheriff's department to manage our issues. They responded within 10 minutes of our calls at both sites and worked quickly to secure the area and screen the area and release the area back to us to continue a normal school day."
There was a threat made at Sonoraville Middle School last Thursday, and three more were made at SHS in April.
However, McCown said that arrests have been made in some of the threats that were made last month.
"I would like to commend sheriff's departments and the personnel, 75 percent of these threats have been solved. Juvenile complaints have been filed against each student and significant consequence from the school district has all been applied."
Looking ahead, McCown said he's leaving it up to the principal to talk to students about the seriousness of copycat bomb threats.
"We need to communicate and will be up to each principal to communicate the consequence for these actions in the student bodies," McCown said.

I may joke around a lot but I have a big problem with kids not being safe. If your child wasn't evaluated call him.
I do not care how many pranks there have been before. No matter how rediculous the bomb threats get, the ones you do not take seriously may be the ones that are real. The students should ALWAYS be moved to safety first. End of story.
It's not funny, this is very serious!!!
