This wreck tied up northbound traffic on Ga. 53 at the bypass for well over an hour Wednesday morning. The driver of the recycling truck was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. (Doug Walker, RN-T)
The driver of the aluminum recycling truck from Priority Waste has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
911 received the original call for the wreck at 7:22 a.m.
