Chuck Wade, President and CEO of the Council on Alcohol and Drugs and State Director of Drugs Don't Work in Georgia, will be the guest speaker at the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn event presented Friday, April 30, 2010 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at The Calhoun Depot.

Representatives from companies that are not certified drug-free workplaces are encouraged to attend and learn how easy it is to complete the process in order to earn the 7.5% discount on workers' compensation insurance.

Gordon County Chamber Drugs Don’t Work Members will be recognized and honored as certified drug free workplaces.

The Chamber's Drugs Don't Work, Existing Industries and Human Resources Committees will host the program. The event is sponsored by Santek Environmental / Waste Services of Georgia.
