Robin Faith, coding supervisor for Gordon Hospital’s Health Information Management (HIM) Department, has been awarded the hospital’s prestigious extra mile award.
This special award was created by members of the hospital’s employee engagement committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to a deserving employee selected by the hospital’s directors.
“It is an honor to be nominated for this award,” Faith said. “I have worked in the medical field for 28 years and 18 of those have been here at Gordon Hospital. This is a great place to work and I love my job.”
Lori Williams, director of HIM, said Faith is very deserving of the recognition.
“Robin helps everyone that calls her,” Williams explained. “She knows everything as she’s been here forever, but if she doesn’t happen to know the answer, she’ll find it and fix it for you.”
Faith is a graduate of Trinity Christian Academy and became a certified patient account representative in 1993. She and her husband, Freddie, reside in Fairmount. They have a daughter and son-in-law, Charissa and Clint Baker. In her spare time, Robin enjoys being outdoors and trail riding with her mules.
