Mr. and Mrs. Danny Childers of Ranger announce the marriage of their daughter, Wendy Ellen, to Mr. Dustin Anthony Patterson.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Pickens High School and is currently employed at Chestatee State Bank in Marble Hill. Her Grandparents are John and Alice Blackwell of Ranger, Truman Childers of the Jerusalem Community, and the late Jessie Childers of Calhoun.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Gordon Central High School and is currently employed at Yanmar America in Adairsville. His parents are Tony Patterson and Shane and Angela Kirby all of Pickens County. His grandparents are Barbara Patterson of Pickens County, the late Jimmy Patterson of Gordon County, the late Lloyd and the late Annie Ruth McDaniel of Bartow County.

The wedding took place Saturday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairmount. The reception was at 3 p.m. at the Community Center in Fairmount.
