Above: the cast of “An Evening at the Dunbar House,” a winter dinner theater production held at the historic 1902 Stock Exchange in Adairsville. The facility was filled to capacity both evenings. The original script was compilied by members of the Gordon County Theater Troupe, and music of famous Georgia composer Johnny Mercer was added. The cast of 17 spent the month of January preparing the show. Front row, from left: Jessicah Bennett, Amanda Banks, Austin Harris, Chelsey McCleskey, Sydney Smith, back row: Heaven Lingle, Heavenly Dacus, Abby Young, Kaitlyn Morrell, Brone Stewart, Briggs Garland, Taylor Proctor, Josh Lance, Bethany Burke, Billy Wooten; seated: Katie Wilson and Callie Stokes. Profits from the show helped fund the Thespian Troupe’s delegation to the Thescon 2010, a theater education convention, and hiring a choreographer for the spring show.
