The 19 United Way agencies are working to meet as many needs as possible with their limited resources. Financial support from the community is critical to continue their work all year long. The campaign will be ending in March.
At that time United Way will begin the process of distributing the funds raised from this year’s campaign. Every dollar raised in these last few weeks will enhance the allocation amount given to the agencies. In order to keep the agencies funded at their present level, more contributions are needed. As the demand for help increases the contributions must also increase.
Please join the group listed below that is making a difference in our community by contributing to United Way. Remember, the dollars given to United Way of Gordon County stay in Gordon County helping the 19 United Way agencies working in this community.
The board of directors of United Way wishes to thank all those who have contributed. Tax deductible contributions may be sent to United Way P.O. Box 486 Calhoun, GA. 30703.

And expenses.
If UnitedWay meets only 80% of the goal, will she make only 80% of $45,000?
Will she be taking furlough days, getting a reduction in her insurance or other benefits?
Don't count on it.
