Two Calhoun residents have been arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamines.

According to Sheriff Mitch Ralston:

Deputies received a report of domestic abuse at a home on Baxter Road in Gordon County on Feb. 9.

Deputy sheriffs investigating the report conducted a search of the interior of the home and discovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine in a heating and air vent.

The deputies arrested Fred Jason Charles, 29, and Jennifer Lynn Cagle, 24, both of 452(B) Baxter Road, Calhoun.

Both were taken into custody without incident and charged with Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

Both Cagle and Charles have been released. Cagle has a previous arrest for a misdemeanor in April 2008. Charles has 11 previous arrests and has served five years probation for various charges.
