Gordon County is under a winter weather advisory until 1 p.m. Monday afternoon according to the National Weather Service.

A cold front that will bring a mix of rain, sleet and snow is moving into North Georgia.

The precipitation is expected tp change to snow starting between 6 am and 8 am.

Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible across the region.

A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow and possibly sleet are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible.

This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
