Calhoun PD make narcotics arrest

Calhoun Police arrested seven people Wednesday on a variety of drug charges following a two-month investigation.

According to the Calhoun Special Operations Division:

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, Calhoun Special Operations officers, with the assistance of the Calhoun Special response Team, the Conasagua Safe Streets Task Force and the Firearms Initiative Strike Team, executed search warrants at 1342 U.S. 41 North and 201 N. King St. in Calhoun.

During a search of the two residences, a substantial amount of narcotics were located. Police also found money, weapons and drug paraphernalia.

Deborah R. Pilcher, 58, of 1342 U.S. 41 North; Charles R. Hogg, 35, of 201 N. King St.; Robbie Buchanan, 34, of 201 N. King St.; Jamie D. Grogan, of 1684 Cash Road; and Felicia S. Hall, of 154 Riverview Drive, Apt. 4, were all arrested at the scene.

Further investigation led detectives to 2261 U.S. 41 NE, No. 30 (Relax Inn), where they arrested Roberta Caldwell, 43, and Eric Caldwell, 40.

The seven suspects face charges ranging from the sale of methamphetamine to the possession of drug related objects.

All subjects were transported to the Gordon County Jail for holding.

Glad that law enforcement is on top of things with all of the arrests in Gordon and Bartow Counties this past week. However, its depressing when this is the majority of news stories on teh website...sure could use a little good news today.
