SHS students tour North Georgia College, learn about military life

Sonoraville High School juniors recently toured North Georgia College & State University, the senior military college in Georgia. As part of Sonoraville’s Added Value Education (SAVE) program, students in each grade level have the opportunity to tour at least one college in all four of their high school years. This effort is partially funded by the Georgia Appalachian Center for Higher Education (GACHE) to assist in raising college-going rates for students throughout the region.
