Ava is the daughter of HS student and daughter of CMS Teacher Barbara Langford.
The qualifications for nomination and the process for selection were rigorous.
Only the very best student athletes were selected from those nominated across the state of Georgia.
Academic All Star Athlete winners will be notified by letter prior to the broadcast recognition on Georgia Public Broadcastings’ television, radio and on gpb.org between November 2009 and May 2010.
