Man arrested after crashing into gate

A Gordon County man is facing charges after police say he crashed his car through the Berry College front gate.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

David Lamar Green, 44, of 287 Riverview Drive in Resaca, was arrested by Berry College police around 11 p.m. Saturday. He was charged with driving under the influence after police say he drove his vehicle through the gate arm at the Berry College entrance.

Nobody was injured in the collision.

Green was released from jail Sunday on $1,350 bail.
