North Georgia National Bank officials said the institution continues its tradition as “Gordon County’s strong, independent, home-owned bank,” despite parting ways with two top offices recently.

Last week, the board announced the departure of CEO David Lance and executive vice president Donna McEntyre.

“In order to insure the bank’s continued vitality, the Board of Directors is exploring new management options,” according to a NGNB press release.

“Under the leadership of George Crowley and the officers of the bank, the bank will build on its outstanding tradition of banking excellence with added products and services to meet the needs of Gordon County,” the press release read.

Board Chairman Tom Kinnamon stated, “Continuing to maximize shareholder return is a priority and we have a talented group of individuals in place that will take North Georgia National Bank to the next level.”

“North Georgia National will continue to provide resources for community endeavors such as support of our local schools and charitable organizations,” according to the bank’s written statement.

I would not trust David Lance or Donna McEntyre

for anything.

...if you get the chance, stop in at Northside Bank. I think you will find the officers inside as appealing and caring as what you had at NGNB. Nothing would make them happier than to hear that you would like to transfer your NGNB accounts to Northside...I moved years ago, from NGNB when a "certain person" came out of "retirement" to help head up Northside. I've been thrilled to the hilt since. By the way, she's wasn't even old enough for retirement...29 is still young, isn't it?

We chose NGNB because we know and trust Mr. Lance. Now we are not so sure.

LOVE THIS BANK'S "SUPPORT" of local schools via loans to the county at a higher interest rate than any other lending facility offers!
