Military supplier faces key Ga. court hearing

ATLANTA (AP) — A major military food supplier charged with inflating prices and defrauding the U.S. government faces a key court hearing today in Georgia.

The first appearance hearing is scheduled today for Kuwaiti logistics firm Public Warehousing Co.

The company, also known as Agility, is the military's prime food supplier in Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan. It is charged with making false statements, submitting false claims and committing wire fraud.

The company has said the allegations are "without merit."
