Kick off of the state AA football championship game pitting the Calhoun Yellow Jackets against the Buford Wolves is less than an hour away.

The Jackets have taken the field for warm-ups at the Georgia Dome before kickoff. This is Calhoun’s third trip to the Dome since 2005.

Calhoun fans who were unable to go to Atlanta for today’s game can follow the Jackets on our Grid-Central Web site, where we will be blogging from the press box and the sidelines.

In addition, a Calhoun Times reporter will be sending Twitter updates from the Dome, as well.

Gridiron Central will have complete coverage of the game Saturday.

The game will be televised live on Georgia Public Broadcasting, which can be found on Comcast channel 8 or 240 for high definition customers in Rome. It will also be available on GPB.org, on Demand at GHSA.tv and rebroadcast on GPB Knowl-edge on Atlanta Comcast channel 246. Statewide coverage of the game can be found on over the air service on Comcast channel 3. WEBS 1030 AM will stream the game live at www.webs1030am.com.
