Do you feel better about yourself when you are putting someone else down? That seems to be the case! The evacuation was handling properly. Ashworth and Gordon Central did a wonderful job trying to keep all the students safe.

I have a child at Gordon Central, and a child at Ashworth, and I can tell you right now that both schools did an excellent job yesterday. No situation is perfect, and maybe there are always tedious details to work out and make things a little smoother, but our kids were taken care of quickly and us, parents, were notified rapidly as well!
Everyone is this county should thank their lucky stars that we have the education system and support system we have. Like I said, nothings perfect, but we have 3 VERY good school systems in this county/city, and police and fire department crews that most of us should be proud of.
I, for one, thank you very much for the good job you did yesterday!!!!!!!
You, EchotaMan, should be thankful that your child attends a school that not only cares about their educational success, but also their well-being and safety.
p.s. My husband does not squeal, clutch pearls or faint!
