Trey Pierson will hold his second straight Tailgating Party at the Dome Friday. The crew will arrive at the Dome at 8 a.m. and food should be ready around 1 p.m.

“We will most likely have a smorgasbord of meats (ribs, wings, mesquite chicken, burgers and 'dogs,” said Pierson.

Raymond Chang donated some chickens, burgers and hotdogs for the event. The tailgating party is accepting meat donations.

They will also need side dishes including chips, drinks, condiments, desserts and paper products. Side dishes can be brought to the tailgating event. If you want to help with other stuff they will need it by Thursday so it can be loaded on a trailor.

The tailgating will be in the same parking lot as last year, about 100-yards from gates A and D. A map is provided with an aerial view of the location.

Music has also been set up for the event.

According to information provided by Calhoun High School and the Georgia High School Association:

Calhoun High School will sit on the Visitor’s side. Gates A and D on the Southside will open one hour before game time (3:30 p.m.).

The GHSA pass gate will be housed between Gate A and Gate D.

Since it is an outside sport being played inside, GHSA is allowing noise makers such as shakers, no air horns or whistles, but you can bring your shakers. No signs are allowed by the Dome.

No one will be allowed on the field without an appropriate GHSA pass. Specific names have been given to GHSA.

Due to increased security, all bags will be checked at admission.
