According to Judy Jackson, director of development for the Gordon Hospital Foundation, the third annual event was held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Barnsley Gardens Resort in Adairsville.
“We enjoyed terrific weather for this year’s Golf Classic,” Jackson said. “But more than anything we are celebrating the fact that more than $17,000 will be presented to New Beginnings as a result of this very enjoyable event.”
Construction to renovate and enhance the obstetrics department at Gordon Hospital is expected to begin soon.
“The Gordon Hospital Foundation is thrilled to be able to assist with a project that will mean so much to so many families in our community,” Jackson added. “We are very appreciative to all of our players, sponsors, and volunteers that helped us raise these much-needed funds.”
