Red Bud Elementary celebrated their students, faculty and staff for their recent AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) success. Students were entertained by faculty and staff members at a school wide assembly and awards ceremony.

Teachers and staff members received themed gift bags for their efforts.

Red Bud Elementary has made AYP for the eighth year in a row. Adequate Yearly Progress is one of the corner-stones of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. It is in part a measure of year to year student achievement on statewide assessments.

Students recognized for their achievements on the CRCT included Bradlee Cox, Dawson Williams, Kirill Sniff, Reece Poe, Caitlin Gray, Chloe Fitch, Elizabeth Hurst, Ember Milstead, Ethan Brown, Garrett Overboe, Payton Baker, Shelby Gentry, Hannah Roberts, John Graves, Kirsten Gordon, Nathania Cortes, Nathaniel Brooks, Joann Graves, Melanie Cole, Sam Tomasello, and Solomon Capri.
