“It is going to be a fun-filled, lively and entertaining event,” says Beverly Forster. “People are always surprised, maybe astonished, by the talent we have in Gordon and surrounding counties. The legacy left by such great performers as Roland Hayes, The Yellow Hammers, Monty Powell and so very many others is kept alive and viable by current artists.
“Also, we have such a great venue, The Harris Arts Center, to stage an event such as Calhoun’s Got Talent. It is a pleasure to see people come here in support of our entertainment programs and depart with a smile on their faces and feeling good because of what they saw here. We are most fortunate to have this building and want people to take advantage. Calhoun’s Got Talent will take its place as one of our great events.”
For more information, interested parties or potential contestants should call 706-629-2500. The Harris Arts Center is located at 212 South Wall Street in downtown Calhoun.
