GCP&R 2009 Cherokee Bowl Highlights

7&8 Bulldogs (6) vs. Cowboys (24)

Bulldogs:

Noah Sullivan scored on a 6 yard Touchdown run. Gabe Ross had 56 yards rushing on the night for the bulldogs. Gabe Ross and Case Collins both had 3 tackles each on the night for the Bulldogs’ defense.

Cowboys:

Takoda Foster had 101 yards rushing and 2 Touchdowns, Eric McKnight had 90 yards rushing, 1 Touchdown, and 4 tackles on the night . Ty Fisher connected with Hagan Steely on a 15 yard Touchdown Pass to secure a victory over the Bulldogs and advance to the championship round of the Cherokee Bowl.

7&8 Canes (0) vs. Tigers (13)

Canes:

Joseph Pacheco had 3 tackles to lead the Canes’ defense. Brandon Long rushed for 26 yards on 4 carries.

Tigers:

Conner Reece had a game high 4 tackles, and Nelson Gravitt had 41 yards rushing, 3 tackles, and 1 Touchdown. Zakkary Ferguson had a 6 yard Touchdown run for the Tigers to help lead them to victory and advance to the Cherokee Bowl Championship.



9&10 Titans (28) vs. Vikings (6)

Titans:

Cody Lomax scored a rushing Touchdown for the Titans, Auston Dotson had 4 tackles, Will Pritchett had 4 tackles and 1 Touchdown. Brad Wilson had 58 yards of total offense and 2 Touchdowns to lead the Titans to victory and advance to the Championship round of the Cherokee Bowl.

Vikings:

Cody Holland had 3 tackles, Jordan Brinkley had 3 tackles also. Carson Crisp scored a Touchdown on a quarterback drawto lead the Vikings’ offense

I can't wait to see these Titans playing school ball. They have dominated the rec. league in 9&10 this year. I understand this team is 28 and 1 for the past three years.
