Deputy Sheriff William Channell of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office and his family visited the Calhoun Winners Club on Oct. 1 Deputy Channell talked to the club members about safety, helped with homework, and showed the members his black and white patrol car. Deputy Channell emphasized that the members of the Sheriff’s Office both work and live in the community, and are active in local organizations, schools, and churches.
