Calhoun men arrested for thefts from autos

Bartow County Sheriff’s investigators along with investigators from Adairsville Police Department Calhoun Police Department and the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office have arrested four men from Calhoun, Ga. for numerous thefts from autos.

According to Sheriff Millsap, Devin Tyree Hayes, 24, and Edwin James Walker, 23, both of Calhoun, Ga. are being held in the Bartow County Jail after their arrest Wednesday afternoon.

Both men face 10 counts each of Entering an Auto after they allegedly entered vehicles in the Hopkins farm and an Oak Grove Road Subdivision in Adairsville between October 7 and 8, 2009 taking Cameras, Cellular telephones, GPS Units, pocketbooks and wallets.

Investigators with Bartow County also secured warrants for 10 counts each of Entering an Auto for Rashaad Antoine Woodberry, 19, of Beason Road, Calhoun, Georgia and Cole Michael Hollander, 17, of Farmington Drive, Calhoun, Georgia.

Both Woodberry and Hollander were being held in The Gordon County, Jail.

Investigators say they have recovered some of the property stolen, that includes a cellular telephone, GPS Unit and a DVD Player, and are working to locate additional stolen property.

Both Hayes and Walker remain in The Bartow County Jail pending bond.
