CMS football wraps up No. 1 seeding

The CMS football team wrapped up its claim to the No. 1 seed in the B.G.M.S.A.A. tourney with a 35-6 victory over Adairsville Thursday night.

Alex Urbano, Jesse House and Slade Dale led a strong running game against he Tigers. Urbano scored two touchdowns, and House and Dale recorded one each.

Dale added a receiving touchdown from QB Fields Chapman.

The defense was led by Tanner McCormick and Weston McArthur.

Calhoun finished the regular season a perfect 6-0 and will play in the season ending tourney on Oct. 17 at Woodland Middle School.
