Congratulations Ashworth boys and girls golf teams on victories over Sonoarville and Adairsville.

The Ashworth girls and boys golf teams defeated both Sonoraville and Adairsville in a tri-match recently.

Ashworth girls shot a combined score of 109 to down Sonoraville and Adairsville by 30 points each. Catie Worham shot her lowest round of the season of 50. Amber Gwin followed with a counting score of 59.

The Sonoraville’s girls were led by MaKenna Burger (65) and Spencer Dunn (74).

The Ashworth boys shot a score of 182 behind the strong play of Andrew Crider shooting a 40. Branton Bailey and Seth Culpepper carded a 46 each and Kent Warth turned in a score of 50. This was 17 strokes better than Sonoraville’s 199 and 59 strokes better than Adairsville’s 241.

The Sonoraville’s boys were led by Gunter Jordan (42), Griff Bryant (46), Jeremy Travis (55), and Tanner Sanderson (56).
