Kari Jo Ingram and Michael Andrew Edwards were united in marriage on August 15, 2009 at a beautiful outdoor ceremony at seven thirty in the evening at The Barton Farm in Adairsville. Pastor Larry Hibberts of Cedar Creek Baptist Church officiated the ceremony.



The bride is the daughter of Dawn Watkins and the late Kenneth Ingram of Gadsden, Ala. The groom is the son of David and Ann Edwards of Adairsville.



Matron of honor was Leia Morrow of Adairsville. Bridesmaids were Melissa Reynolds of Calhoun, Kayla Vickery of Carnesville, and Kristen Skaja of Adairsville. Junior bridesmaid was Katelyn Watkins, sister of the bride. Flower girls were Montana and Ava Grace Edwards of Adairsville. The bridal party wore royal purple tea-length strapless dresses with silver heels. They carried hand tied bouquets of green roses and purple statice tied with a royal purple ribbon. Flower girls wore white ankle length dresses with a pick-up detail in the skirt and accented with an apple green sash. They carried white baskets with green and purple accents and lined the aisle with white rose petals.



Best man was Corey Reynolds of Calhoun. Groomsmen were Matt Abernathy of Kingston, Fite Casey of Adairsville, and Josh Abernathy of Kingston. Junior groomsman was Thomas Watkins, brother of the bride. The groomsmen wore linen dress pants and a crisp white linen shirt. Ushers were Neal Hamilton, Nick Morrow, and Trent Morrow. The bridal attendants were Jennifer Abernathy and Lindsey Boyd. Wedding coordinator was Lisa Abernathy, and photographer was Lamanda Burger.



The bride wore a strapless white gown with beaded bodice and pick-up detail in the skirt. She also wore a diamond right hand ring, a gift from her mother, and a diamond journey necklace. Her white birdcage veil was accented with swarovski crystals. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of white calla lilies with purple crystal accents. The bou-quet was wrapped in purple and green ribbons and was adorned with an angel pendant that belonged to her late father.



Following the ceremony, a tented reception was held for friends and family. The tables were set with white and purple linens, with mason jar centerpieces filled with white gerbera daisies. The bride’s cake consisted of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with white cream cheese icing adorned with the couple’s initials in purple icing. The top layer was marble cake with raspberry filling topped with a monogrammed swarovski crystal cake topper. The groom’s cake was a red velvet cake with white cream cheese icing. Music was provided by Shanon McDurmon with acoustics by Josh Abernathy, Ryan Coker, Jim Burnett, and Steve Edwards.



The evening before the wedding, Ann Edwards hosted the rehearsal dinner at the couple’s new home in Rydal. Other pre-nuptial parties included a house warming and bridal shower also at the couple’s home.



After the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg Tennessee. They now reside in Rydal.
