A Calhoun man was arrested earlier this week and charged with possession of meth with the intent to sell.

Jeffrey Lane Walker, 49, of 153 Meadowlark Lane, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 21. after a dep-uty sheriff stopped Walker during a routine patrol.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamines.

Walker was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of drugs and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. Walker is being held in the county jail pending bond proceed-ings.
