Joyful Lee Rutherford of Calhoun and Joseph Albert Blake Pierron, of Powdersprings announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan D. Hayes of Calhoun and Mr. and Mrs. Arhtur Kellie Rutherford Jr., of Brighton, Colo. She attended Hewitt-Trussville of Ala. and Dalton State College. She is employed at Sonoraville Elementary School.

She is the sister of Samuel Rutherford and Meredith and Lesleigh Hayes of Calhoun and Elana and Natalie Rutherford of Brighton, Colo.

The future groom is the sone of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Joen Pierron of Powdersprings. He attended McEachern High School and is employed by ERC of Atlanta.

He is the brother of Amy and Chloe Pierron of Dallas, Eileen Pierron of St. Louis, and Kattie and Patrick Evans of Powderspings.

The wedding will be Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Calhoun.
