Ms. Rachel Olivia Stuckey to wed Bruce Daniel Easterwood

Doctor and Mrs. Wesley Mabry Stuckey of Dalton, Georgia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Rachel Olivia to Bruce Daniel Easterwood of Calhoun, Georgia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Henry Shirley, also of Calhoun.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mabry Winford Stuckey and the late Mr. Stuckey of Evergreen, Ala-bama, and Mrs. Silas Garrett Tucker, senior and the late Mr. Tucker of Uriah, Alabama. Miss Stuckey is the sister of Mr. Andrew Wesley Stuckey, Miss Abigail Elizabeth Stuckey, and Miss Mary Margaret Stuckey, all of Dalton.

Miss Stuckey is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The future-bride was presented at the 2006 Dalton Cotillion and at the 2006 Chattanooga Cotton Ball.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Howard King Burchett of Calhoun, the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Francis Easterwood of Villa Rica, Georgia, and the late Ms. Evelyn Harris, of Rome, Georgia. Mr. Easter-wood is the brother of Mrs. Jason Thomas Bunch of Calhoun.

Mr. Easterwood is a graduate of Southeast Whitfield High School in Dalton, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Dalton State College.

The wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2009 at 6 o’clock at Dalton First United Methodist Church.
