Gordon County detectives have arrested a Plainville minister on child molestation charges.

According to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office:

Randy Hufstetler, 52, of 420 Autry Road, Plainville, was arrested Friday afternoon without incident at his Plainville construction business in connection with the molestation of a local child. Hufstetler attended a local church in the Plainville community.

The charges stem from an investigation into reports of innappropriate contact with an (then)11-year-old girl who attended the same church with Hufstetler a number of years before.

Hufstetler has been charged with two counts of child molestation.

Detectives have interviewed a second young person acquainted with Hufstetler and who is believed to have been victimized.

The investigation is continuing. Hufstetler remains in the Gordon County Jail pending a bond hearing

I sat in on the trial also and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt he was guilty! And the charges where not bogus! And I know you would feel different if this happend to one of your family members! The sad part is that his family has to suffer to for all that he has done! My heart goes out to lauren, randys daughter! He lied to me and her both while sitting in his apartment face to face and he told us he was innocent, While knowing what he had done all along! It just goes to show that you never truely know who people are and what skeletons they have in their closet!
