A local pharmacist has been fined after letting her license expire. According to a consent order from the Department of the Secretary of State, Nan Rhinehart was slapped with a $500 after she failed to renew her license prior to Dec. 31, 2008.

Rhinehart is a pharmacist at The Prescription Shop on Redbud Road. She was not available for comment on Wednesday.

She continued to practice as a pharmacist and filed in February to have her license reinstated. According to the order, her license can be reinstated once she pays the fine.
