Karen Braden performs the ribbon cutting outside her newly opened store Calhoun Prescription Wednesday amongst family, friends and members of the community.
Owner and pharmacist Karen Braden cut the green ribbon in front of the store recently opened in January 2013.
On staff at the new pharmacy located at 100 Red Bud Rd. is Pharmacy Technician Mary Hansley, bilingual Service Represenative Lilly Munguia, and Pharmacist John Harvon.
Along with her husband Ricky and three children, Karen plans to host a Grand Opening Celebration event Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be barbecue and other food for the public and balloons for the kids.
