Update: A tornado warning for Floyd County has expired. There is serious damage in southern Floyd County and the Cave Spring area, according to 911. Trees are down throughout the southern portions of Rockmart Highway, U.S. 27 and U.S. 411 south of Rome. There has been numerous reports of structural damage, including the Silver Creek Mini Mart on Rockmart Highway, which was seriously damaged.

The Rockmart Highway is pretty much impassable in Silver Creek.

Trees are down ton Wax Road; Black's Bluff Road, where part of a carport was reported in the roadway; Rivermont Road, U.S. 411 at Norton Road; Eden Valley Road; Ga. 101 at Livingston Road, Chulio Road at the Race Trac and The Trail in Lindale.

A minor fire was reported at the Coke plant on U.S. 27 south.

Power lines are down on Booze Mount Road and Wax Road.
