Calhoun's Carter Edwards (seated, second from right) signed a scholarship on Wednesday to play football at Berry College.

Edwards said of the signing: "I'm really excited about it. Getting to go be a part of a new program is something I'm looking forward to. I visited there and just fell in love with the campus. I'm really looking forward to it."

Also attending the signing were: brother Casey Edwards (front row, from left), mother Lisa Edwards, father Russ Edwards, Principal Greg Green (back row, from left), former assistant coach Ricky Ross, head coach Hal Lamb and assistant coach Tommie Hoblitzell.
